Zion Ministries in New Zealand is involved with community and social change through its breakfast clubs, food banks and community activities in low socio-economic areas along with equipping believers in Jesus to DO “the work of the ministry”. Activities include Ducks In a Row Training, Hebraic Thinking, Women Breaking the Mould, Houses of Zion, Prayer Watches, Prayer Journeys, Strategic Prayer and Prophetic Intercession, and other activities as we move forward. (1 Chron 12:32).

The Trustees of Zion Ministries are Brenda Parshotam and Norma Sarvis. Both Brenda and Norma have been commissioned for ministry by Chuck Pierce and Peter Wagner, through Glory of Zion International Ministries and Global Spheres, Corinth, Texas.

Norma Sarvis is based in Jerusalem, Israel and with her husband Martin ministers through Kav Kavod (Line of Glory). They are leaders at Succat Hallel, a 24/7 prayer ministry in Jerusalem.

Brenda Parshotam’s background is in Human Resource Management, being an HR Director in New Zealand for a multi-national organisation for 10 years. Her association with Glory of Zion and Global Spheres commenced in February 2006 when she started on-site training at the Glory of Zion School of Issachar, graduating in November 2009.

In November 2008 she was commissioned by Chuck Pierce and the leaders of Glory of Zion for New Zealand ministry and the establishment of Houses of Zion in New Zealand.

In May 2010 Brenda was commissioned as an Apostolic Minister by Chuck Pierce and Peter Wagner, through Global Spheres, an apostolic and prophetic network aligning individuals and ministries in a common cause.

Brenda and her husband Steve Farrelly administer Zion Ministries in New Zealand, assisted by many loyal, willing, dedicated and committed volunteers.
